I have been a librarian for over 15 years working in both public libraries and school libraries both in England and America. I love to bring excitement and creativity to my teaching! I believe the library should be the center of any school as it encompasses all aspects of learning. I love to help students find what they love to read!

This activity can be used in a variety of settings. It is best used for students in Kindergarten or 1st grade. In the past I have used this as:
A celebration of the 100th day of school
Valentine’s Day
An end of year assessment to see what the students enjoyed most
A remind in the first week of school
This is a great activity for younger students to remind them why they love coming to library. It can also be double-up as an easy display in the library! Copy the hearts onto pink or colored paper to make it stand out!
